Meeting notes and minutes that remember what changed
Every meeting tool can produce notes. The useful minutes are the ones that still tell the truth six weeks later, when a later meeting quietly undid the number you are about to use.
What the minutes contain
After the call, Dot writes the meeting minutes: the decisions, the people who own them, and the dates. Each line is traceable to the moment it was said, not paraphrased into a summary nobody can check.
The notes are what the next meeting starts from. Actions nobody closed and questions the last meeting left open come back in, each with the person who owns them. Nobody has to go back through last month’s document to find them.
Notes that name a reversal
A later meeting can change the answer. Most meeting notes never find out. Dot keeps the link between the two, so when somebody asks what was agreed it can say what was decided, when, and whether anything since has replaced it.

Taken by a bot in the meeting, not by an app on a laptop
The meeting notes come from a meeting bot that joined the call. That is how the room knows notes are being taken: Dot is in the participant list, the chat, and on its video tile. There is no silent desktop listener.
Paste a Microsoft Teams, Zoom or Google Meet link. The same assistant writes the minutes on all three, and remembers them as one record.
Questions
Are the minutes a transcript?
No. The transcript is kept as a written record. The minutes are the decisions, owners and dates extracted from it. You can read either. Audio and video are not kept by default.
Can I export meeting notes?
Yes. You can export everything as documents and spreadsheets, including the minutes and the transcript they came from. If you cancel, you export first and then ask us to delete the rest.
